makeup trial: miss t

a couple of months ago, i had a bridal trial for my friend and fellow blogger, miss.t. before the trial, she sent me a photo of what type of look she was going for:


i consider this the retro-modern freshface look - dramatic eyes (liner and lashes) + natural everything else. i tried to mimic this look with a couple minor tweaks (e.g., darker lips, anime eyelashes).

face: MAC studio sculp #NC25, MAC mineralize powder in medium, MAC studio finish SPF35 concealer #NW25
brows: just a touch of MAC boutique brown (shadow used on brows). she didn't need much filling in because brows are nice and full already -- not too common these days.
eyes: urban decay eyeshadow base, k-palette 10day tattoo (liner), make up for ever aqua eyes #01 (liner), stila bronze glow trio (eyeshadow set), MAC dazzleray (pigment)
lashes: darkness X-UP series (false lashes), darkness lash glue (the SUPERGLUE for lashes), dior blackout (mascara)
cheeks: MAC Dsquared contour kit in accentuate/sculpt, nars orgasm (blush)
lips: MAC pro longwear lipcolour (unchanging + clear)

a couple of things i might change:
* foundation to MAC studio fix fluid in NC25 (for overall) and NW25 for undereyes. why? because studio fix is lightweight and offers more full coverage and ultra long wear.
* add a shimmer over the blush and highlight. i'll most likely use my new shu uemura tsumori chisato limited edition duo color highlighter golden snow.
