foundation, foundation, foundation!!
i don't wear foundation every day (i've actually been wearing BB cream w/ SPF + powder OR sunscreen + full coverage powder) but now i'm on a quest to find the best-ever liquid/creme foundation. nothing beats the baby soft look that a good foundation (+ good technique) can offer. what i'm looking for is medium-to-full coverage THAT LASTS.
currently testing:
- MAC full coverage
- MAC face & body
- MAC studio sculpt
- MAC studio tech (creme)
- Clinique repairwear
- La Mer the fluid
- Chanel mat lumiere long lasting luminous matte fluid
just ordered (will be testing!):
- Illuminairé fantastic finish
- Illuminairé extra coverage
- Illuminairé ultimate all-day

how about makeup for ever's hd liquid or cle de peau cream? my favorite foundation powder is chantecaille.
have you tried either of them? if so, what do you think? i may try Make Up For Ever but it only got a 3.6 out of 5 on makeupalley (but then again, so did MAC's studio tech.. and i'm kind of liking it better than the rest). wow, cle de peau is so expensive! $115 per bottle?! serious? =X
I'd say MUFE HD foundation - try to get a sample from Sephora if you can. I think MUFE can also send you a bigger sample if you contact them directly. I use it now & then when I want a really nice base; it's a little more moisturizing than I like in the summer, but does well with a good setting powder & blotting sheets.
How's the search going? I'm looking for something too so I can't wait to see what you think of the MAC ones you're currently testing! I'm thinking of giving Studio Sculpt a try if I can find a good color match.
do u ever try skin 79??? i havent try it also... but many people says skin 79 is a good bb cream...
yes, i actually do use skin79 BB cream! i think it's ok. i don't have a favorite BB cream yet, and i don't know if i'm ever going to have a favorite. =X
